On April 21, Lin Wu, Executive Vice Governor of Jilin Province, led a team to visit Songyuan Dekon and conducted a field investigation on Dekon’s “company+ family farm”. Li Xiangguo, Secretary of the Songyuan Municipal Party Committee, and Gao Cailin, Mayor of Songyuan City, accompanied the visit. Dan Shoulin, General Manager of Songyuan Dekon, warmly welcomed Lin Wu and his delegation.
Lin Wu and his delegation came to the construction site of Dekon Family Farm in Changling County. They walked into the construction site and carefully checked the construction progress of the family farm and the design layout of the project. The family farm is designed to produce more than 2,000 pigs a year, and can achieve an annual income of RMB 400,000-600,000 yuan after it is put into operation. At present, the project has completed the foundation construction and is accelerating the construction of the main structure of the breeding houses.
Dan Shoulin, General Manager of Songyuan Dekon, gave a detailed report to Lin Wu on the construction, operation mode and development planning of Dekon family farm. All Dekon family farms are built according to large-scale modern pig farms, and adopt modern pig farming equipment, which is environmentally friendly and efficient. The farm owner and his wife can easily raise 1,000 fat pigs a year, and the income remains stable. He also introduced that Songyuan Dekon Pig Farm has been put into operation, and the next step of the company is to vigorously develop family farms in Songwon and strive to achieve 1 million pigs as soon as possible.
Lin Wu spoke highly of Dekon’s “company+ family farm” model. He stated that Dekon family farm not only upgraded the local breeding industry, but also had a significant effect on farmers’ income and wealth. Therefore, efforts should be made to promote and develop this model. He encouraged Songyuan Dekon to develop rapidly and deeply, and complete the 1 million pig project as soon as possible to effectively drive more farmers to increase their income and get rich.
