On July 16, the 2023 Proposed Projects of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Award released by the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province ended its publicity. The project Innovation and Application of Localized and Efficient Breeding Technology System for Exotic Breeding Pigs jointly developed by Dekon Food and Agriculture Group and Sichuan Agricultural University won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award in Sichuan province.

Dekon’s pig breeding work adheres to the correct strategy for a long time and is oriented towards commercial utilization. By 2016, the Group’s key breeding indicators have surpassed the breeding pig population introduced from abroad; in recent years, the population growth performance of core breeding farms is among the best in China; Dekon has also participated in a number of national key pig breeding projects, and has made independent contributions to the national “seed industry chip” through more than 10 years of work.
