On the morning of May 19, the Dadi Liucai · The 5^th National “Harmonious and Beautiful Village Health Run” (Village Run) started with a gun shot in Nanxi District, Yibin City.

Dekon Group sponsored the event and sent 100 employees to form a “Dekon Running Team” to participate in the half marathon and health run.

The “Village Run”, themed by “running towards harmonious and beautiful village, and running for a happy life”, is a sports event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the General Administration of Sport to comprehensively promote rural revitalization and exhibit the achievements of living environment improvement, and healthy village, harmonious and beautiful village construction. In line with the principle of “allowing farmers to run in the harmonious and beautiful village scenery, using running routes to connect the harmonious and beautiful villages into rural landscape and comprehensively showcasing the achievements of rural revitalization and modern rural construction”, the “Village Run” has been successfully held for four consecutive times.

Yibin is a demonstration site of Dekon’s “One Hundred Villages & One Million Pigs” project. In order to shoulder the historical mission of farmers and herders in the new era, Dekon Group draws on the world’s leading Nordic family farm experience, explores its characteristic industry model, takes the pig farming as the upstream main industry, practices the concept of green development, and unites and leads farmers to get rich and increase income while creating high-quality food, so as to become a leader in high-end food and a struggler for rural revitalization, which is highly in line with the concept advocated by the Village Run.

In this “Village Run”, Dekon also invited several outstanding family farmers who have cooperated with us for a long time to join its Dekon Running Team, feeling the youthful atmosphere and fighting spirit of the team.

This time, the Dekon booth also exhibited the high-quality pork from Dekon, which is produced by the fully imported slaughtering line of Yibin Dekon Food Co., Ltd. The slaughtering line adopts the internationally advanced slaughtering equipment and processes such as carbon dioxide stunning, pulse auto-induction singeing, and automatic grading and warehousing.

Participants came to Dekon booth to learn more and took photos at the check-in wall, creating a lively atmosphere.

After the competition, Yao Hailong, CEO of Dekon Group, Ning Hongwei, General Manager of the Food Division, and Zhu Hui, Director of the Brand Publicity Department of the Group, presented the participants with the first, second and third prizes of “Dekon Excellence Award” and “Micro Marathon Health Run”, respectively. Dekon was also awarded the “Best Contribution Award”.

At the opening ceremony of the “Village Run” the night before, nearly 1,000 drones took off, creating a spectacular and lively atmosphere for the competition.
