On June 10 to 11, Jiang Xiaosong, Member of the Sichuan Provincial Advisory Committee and President of the Sichuan Academy of Animal Sciences, and leaders and experts from the Agricultural Committee of Sichuan People's Congress, Southwest University for Nationalities, Sichuan Agricultural University, and the Sichuan Academy of Animal Sciences, conducted a research and investigation on the Zhangkoulou Breeding Pig Farm of Yuechi Dekon Pig Breeding Co., Ltd. accompanied by relevant leaders from Guang'an City and Yuechi County.

The research team looked over the situation of pig houses, environmental control, feeding lines, and piglets through surveillance videos, and affirmed the demonstration and driving role of Dekon Group as a leading enterprise in the development of family farms in Sichuan. They believed that the development effect of the "Dekon Mode" family farm was obvious, and its demonstration and driving role as a leading enterprise was outstanding.

At the symposium, the research group listened to relevant reports and believed that leading in the province, the "Dekon Mode" has a good growth momentum and great potential, providing reference for the formulation of family farm policies in the province.

It is extremely important for leading enterprises to drive the development of family farms. Lan Mingjian, Member of the Sichuan Provincial Advisory Committee and inspector of the Provincial Department of Agriculture, emphasized that "leading enterprises are crucial in the process of developing family farms. This is because the technology, economic strength, and risk resistance of family farmers are limited, and without the support of leading enterprises, it is difficult for them to achieve sustained and steady development; during our investigation and survey of family farms in Yuechi and Guang'an, we did not expect that the family farms here have developed so well. It is beyond our imagination and forms a sharp contrast with several other areas we investigated before. I think the most important thing is that Guang'an and Yuechi governments have introduced leading enterprises like Dekon. It is their technology, economic strength and anti-risk ability that have promoted the rapid, healthy and steady development of local family farms. Such leading enterprises and family farms they developed deserve strong support."
