On May 18, the Sixteenth (2018) China Animal Husbandry Expo and the 2018 China Animal Husbandry Industry Award Ceremony, sponsored by China Animal Agriculture Association, were grandly held at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Li Rongxi, President of China Animal Agriculture Association, attended the award ceremony. Dekon Group won the awards of “The Most Socially Responsible Industrial Poverty Alleviation Enterprise in 2017” and the “5th Advanced Enterprise in China’s Animal Husbandry Industry” because of its outstanding contributions to the targeted poverty alleviation in 2017 and leading role in accelerating the deployment of modern agriculture.

In 2017, Dekon Group actively responded to the Party’s call of “targeted poverty alleviation”, took the initiative to assume social responsibility, and actively participated in poverty alleviation work. With the help of “company + family farm” model, Dekon Group led local poor households to carry out pig breeding in Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia and other regions, and made remarkable achievements in poverty alleviation and income increase for the local people. At the same time, Dekon actively implemented the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, deepened the structural reform of the supply side, developed breeding industry based on the ecological agriculture concept of planting and breeding circulation, and actively deployed “AI agriculture strategic cooperation” with Alibaba Cloud to develop itself and actively promote the reform and upgrading of agricultural modernization.
