On the evening of May 21, CCTV-7 Jujiao Sannong column focused on the “Intelligent Breeding Industry Ecosphere” jointly initiated by Tequ Group, Alibaba Cloud and Dekon Group, and its significance to the rapid development of intelligent breeding.

Recently, the 2018 China Intelligent Pig-Breeding (Hechuan) Innovation and Development Forum, jointly sponsored by Hechuan District People’s Government of Chongqing Municipality, Tequ Group, Alibaba Cloud and Dekon Group, was held in Hechuan District, Chongqing. At the forum, the AI Ecosphere of Animal Protection was announced to be established.

In response to the severe challenges faced by China’s pig industry, such as overcapacity, difficulty in disease prevention and rising costs, Tequ Group, Dekon Group and Alibaba Cloud jointly launched the “AI Ecosphere of Animal Protection”, with a view of building a shared community for the entire industry chain, changing the competitive situation in the past, jointly improving the terminal efficiency, and ultimately achieving resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win situation. Through this platform, they utilize Alibaba Cloud’s AI technology, big data and cloud computing to help pig farmers raise pigs well, integrate the value resources of the entire livestock breeding industry chain, improve the breeding efficiency, solve the breeding problems in many aspects, and fundamentally solve the food safety issues.
