On January 15~16, 2018, the Sichuan Forum for Healthy Breeding of Livestock and Poultry and Annual Meeting of Sichuan Animal Agriculture Association were held grandly. More than 600 leaders, renowned experts and scholars, industry elites and entrepreneurs from the animal husbandry industry attended this meeting themed by “Transformation and Upgrading, Health and Environmental Protection”.

Dekon Group actively participated in this meeting, carefully listened to and studied the contents of the meeting report. During the meeting, Dekon Group was awarded the title of “2017 Excellent Enterprise in Agricultural Industry Poverty Alleviation” because of its outstanding performance in targeted poverty alleviation, and Yao Hailong, Vice President of Dekon Group and President of Pig Business Division, was rated as the “2017 Exemplary Individual in Agricultural Industry Poverty Alleviation”.

In 2017, Sichuan Province entered a crucial year in terms of poverty alleviation. Dekon Group actively responded to the call of “targeted poverty alleviation” policy and fully invested in the industrial poverty alleviation. During this process, Dekon Group gave full play to its advantages in technologies, management and breeding pigs to cooperate with farmers to develop the pig breeding industry through the innovative model of “company + family farm”, and provide all-round support for farmers to get rid of poverty and get rich. In areas such as Nanchong, Guang’an, Dazhou, Yibin, Luzhou, Zigong, Deyang, Neijiang and Chengdu in Sichuan Province, Dekon Group had made remarkable achievements in poverty alleviation and wealth creation for farmers.
