“Lingnan Yellow Feather Broiler” is one of the well-known brands in Guangdong yellow feather broiler industry. It was jointly established by Guangdong Zhiwei Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guangdong Zhiwei”), Institute of Animal Science, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Dekon Food and Agriculture Group. Lingnan Yellow Feather Broilers I, II and III (supporting line) have successively obtained the national certificate for new breed of livestock and poultry. It is currently the fastest growing medium-speed spotted-brown chicken breed on the market, and is 8-10% heavier than the similar breeds. It has a wide market, which can not only meet the needs of many consumption products such as thawed, slaughtered and live chickens, but also meet the market needs of medium-sized hens aged 60-70 days in south China and large-sized cocks aged 80 days and above in southwest China.
