According to the Chongqing Municipal Agriculture Commission, Hechuan district has built a modern pig farming integrated demonstration zone in Guoyan Village, Qiantang Town by relying on the largest local farming enterprise in Southwest China - Dekon Group, ,aiming to creating the first modern pig farming professional village in Chongqing.

Since the signing of the "500,000-head Pig Breeding Industrialization Project" with the Hechuan District Government of Chongqing, Dekon Group has planned, designed, and guided the construction of 8 modern pig scale breeding farms within the 3000-mu area of Guoyan Village in Qiantang Town. The expected annual output is over 35,000 pigs.

After being put into production, all family farms will follow the unified pig feeding management methods, epidemic prevention and immunization measures, and input management measures of Dekon Group for standardized management. At the same time, they will follow the ecological development path of combining planting and breeding, using odor fermentation beds and biogas engineering as the main manure treatment methods to produce high-quality organic fertilizers and utilize the manure resources.

It is reported that the group will also promote the intelligent pig farming technology in Guoyan Village. Based on the research and development results of the AI breeding project between Dekon group and Alibaba Cloud, various AI breeding technologies such as pig quantity identification, pig herd behavior analysis, disease identification and warning, and unmanned weighing will be launched in the early stage, leading farmers to carry out intelligent pig management and operation to achieve lower costs and more efficient pig farming.
